The V-League, the country's first-ever amateur volleyball tournament, is expanding to the Visayas region with the V-League Visayas tournament set to be held in Cebu. The event will feature top collegiate teams from Cebu, including the defending Cesafi champion University of San Carlos and runner-up University of Southern Philippines Foundation Inc. Other participating schools include University of Cebu, University of San Jose-Recoletos, University of the Philippines-Cebu, and Cebu Institute of Technology-University. The tournament aims to boost volleyball in the region, providing more opportunities for players and recognizing the Visayas' significant contribution to national volleyball talent.
