In the MPTC Tour of Luzon, Filipino cyclists Ronald Oranza and Aidan James Mendoza secured second and third places, respectively, behind the winner Daeyeong Joo of South Korea in the Paoay-Paoay Stage 1. Despite a strong performance by the local athletes, including George Oconer finishing in the top 5, the stage was dominated by Joo, who finished solo after a two-man breakaway.
