Western Visayas is set to participate in the Palarong Pambansa 2025 in Ilocos Norte with a delegation of 965 members, including 605 athletes, 87 coaches, 24 assistant coaches, 40 chaperons, and 209 technical working group members. The delegation, uniquely led by two regional directors, Ramir Uytico and Cristito Eco, aims to challenge the powerhouse National Capital Region (NCR). The event will see delegates from Bacolod City and Negros Occidental joining despite the formation of the Negros Island Region.
