Caballero, the sole female representative from the Association of Boxing Alliances in the Philippines, lost to Uzbekistan's Sabrina Chakamanova in the U17 girls 54-kilogram semifinals, while Lobrido was defeated by Ukraine's Mykhailo Sydorenko in the U17 boys 44-46kg semifinals. The Philippine team is set to compete next at the Thailand Open International Boxing Tournament in Bangkok, followed by a training camp and the World Boxing Cup in Astana, Kazakhstan.
