Alexa Milliam, hailing from Bacolod City, has been honored as the Intercollegiate Tennis Association National Freshman of the Year. Her remarkable freshman season at the University of West Alabama Tigers women’s tennis team included a perfect 19-0 record in singles and a 16-3 record in doubles. Milliam's achievements mark her as the first player in UWA history to achieve such a record and the first to win the Gulf South Conference at 18 years old. Her success continues as she is set to be the No.1 singles player for the Tigers next season.
