The University of San Carlos (USC) Baby Warriors 15-under and 13-under basketball teams are set to compete in the 3rd Asia Global Youth Basketball Championships in Manila from March 27-30, 2025. After rigorous preparation, the teams, including some experienced players, aim to surpass their previous performance where they reached the semifinals despite their height disadvantage.
Key Points
The USC Baby Warriors 15-under and 13-under teams are participating in the championships for the second time.
Last year, they reached the semifinals in the 14-under category despite being at a height disadvantage.
This year, the 15-under team has a more balanced lineup with mostly 14-year-olds.
The teams have undergone thorough preparation, with some players having experience from the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. (Cesafi).
They will face strong competition from teams in Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Guam, and Dubai, as well as from different regions in the Philippines.
Cebu will also be represented by Playtown Exclusives and Cemstarke Corporation.
The teams are set to depart for Manila on March 26, 2025.
