(MMTCI) has opened its gates for imported thoroughbreds to compete in the first leg of the high-profile Prince Cup and King’s Gold Cup, set to take place in Malvar, Batangas on July 20. This event marks the first time that the Philippine Racing Commission (Philracom) and MMTCI are hosting such an event exclusively for imported horses, aiming to enhance the competitiveness and quality of racehorses in the Philippines. The event features a total cash prize of P5.5 million per leg, with each leg covering different distances and featuring top imports from renowned bloodlines.

The Prince Cup and King’s Gold Cup are part of a Triple Crown event, with the first leg occurring on July 20 in Malvar, Batangas.
The event is exclusively for imported horses, aimed at enhancing the competitiveness and quality of racehorses in the Philippines.
