(MMTCI) has opened its gates to imported thoroughbreds for the inaugural leg of the prestigious Prince Cup and King's Gold Cup, set to take place in Malvar, Batangas on July 20, 2025. The event, announced by Philippine Racing Commission chairman Reli de Leon and MMTCI racing manager Rondy Prado, is a Triple Crown series aimed at boosting the competitiveness and quality of imported racehorses in the Philippines. Each leg of the race offers a significant cash prize of P5.5 million, with the races covering distances from 1,200 to 1,600 meters.
