Cebuano triathletes Matthew Justine Hermosa and Karen Manayon showcased exceptional performances at the Sun Life 5150 Bohol Triathlon on Panglao Island, securing overall victories in the men's and women's divisions, respectively. Hermosa, a Southeast Asian Games gold medalist, and Manayon, both from Talisay City, dominated the Olympic-distance race and their age group categories. The event, organized by Sunrise Events Inc., attracted participants from 25 countries and also featured a successful Go for Gold Sunrise Sprint race dominated by Cebu's athletes.
