Team Mercuries, a formidable group of top UAAP varsity track athletes, has arrived in Davao City to participate in the 88th Araw ng Davao Athletics Festival Season 3. The event, set to commence on March 29, 2025, at the University of Mindanao track oval, will feature competitions in sprinting, middle-distance, long-distance, jumping, and throwing. Notable athlete John Lloyd Hechanova Cabalo, a multiple UAAP gold medalist, is among those competing. The festival, part of Davao City's month-long celebration of its 88th founding anniversary, has attracted 750 athletes from various regions, although the Philippine Air Force team will not be participating this year.
