The event, set to commence on March 29, 2025, at the University of Mindanao track oval, will feature competitions in sprinting, middle-distance, long-distance, jumping, and throwing. Notable athlete John Lloyd Hechanova Cabalo, a multiple UAAP gold medalist, is among those competing. The festival, part of Davao City's month-long celebration of its 88th founding anniversary, has attracted 750 athletes from various regions, although the Philippine Air Force team will not be participating this year.
